Larissa Weems from Wednesday. I still need to watch the new show. 😅 But sometimes the best cosplays are the ones your friends talk you into doing with them. It was a very last minute cosplay for Naka-kon this past year. The cosplay gods blessed me with the suit the day of from a thrift store.

Found this amazing jersey at and was inspired to immediately come home and cosplay a casual Zuko! Not bad for a first go at his scar. There are some differences I did from Todoroki’s. And I’ll have to workshop Zuko’s more until I’m happy with it.

Happy Moonie Monday! I got to debut my Sailor Moon fuku this past weekend at Cosplaycon! It was a blast to wear.
It felt like a dream getting to wear her finally. Sailor Moon was my first anime as a kid. I have vivid memories of getting up before school and watching it on tv. I wish I still had some of my kindergarten workbooks because I drew Sailor Moon on so many pages. I may have to do a dramatic recreation. 🤣
I would really like to thank my kcsenshi family for helping with the costuming and just being amazing people to work with!

The very, very rare out of cosplay post from me. Today is my birthday and I decided to dress up because why not! Kinda personal/sappy post here:

My birthday has always been a hard day for me because my mother is no longer on this earth so it seemed like a good way to say thank you to her by taking some photos in a chair art piece she made. I get my artist tendencies from her.
She always was so supportive of the arts and I really don’t think I’d be doing cosplay and painting miniatures without her influence.
If I had to share a thing I’ve learned through my 29 years of being alive it would be to go do the things you’ve only dreamed about! You never know what might happen.

Here she is!! I finally debuted my Sailor Cosmos at Naka-kon this past weekend! She has been at least 3 years in the making and I was supposed to debut her in 2019. But life and the pandemic got in the way. I honestly am glad I waited because some parts I didn’t know how to put together back then and they came out a lot better once I got some experience under my belt.
I got so many compliments and even when I was getting ready I kept saying “I’m so happy I could cry but I shouldn’t because I’ve just done my makeup” 😆 There is so much more I could say but I will leave it there.

It’s Monday once again! Here’s another shot of me as punk Usagi at ASTL. It’s been fun to look at how my punk Sailor moon has evolved. Mainly the changing of the skirt. 😅 I have so many cosplays in the works for Sailor Moon and am hoping to have them finished soon!
