Leader of the Band has been accepted into the charity benefit show for Ability KC, a local nonprofit organization that empowers individuals with disabilities through outpatient medical rehabilitation and community independence support. Art sales benefit Ability KC and their mission to help individuals recovering from serious illnesses, injuries and disabilities, and their families, build brighter futures and reach their greatest potential. Whether a person is dealing with a congenital or acquired condition, Ability KC helps individuals of all ages regain their independence through educational, vocational, and therapeutic services. Show opens July 1 with artist reception August 1 at Buttonwood Art Space. If you can't make the opening the show can be viewed during business hours starting July 1 through September 24 53015 Main St, KCMO.
