Jamea J. Sale, MME works from her private studio in south Olathe. She accepts students of voice, saxophone, introductory keyboard and music theory. Jamea’s credentials include a Masters of Music Education from the University of Kansas in Vocal/Choral Pedagogy. She obtained membership in the International Voice Care Network (voicecarenetwork.org) after completing rigorous course work at St. John’s

University. Sale earned her Bachelors of Music Education at Kansas State University in Vocal & Instrumental Education, K-12. Sale prioritizes the healthy development of vocal skills especially for changing voice adolescents. She focused research on the female changing voice while studying in the KU Music Education/Music Therapy department. Jamea holds a masters in Vocal Choral Pedagogy from KU and a Bachelors of Vocal & Instrumental Music from KSU. She is a member of International VoiceCare Network, ACDA, NATS, NAfME, Federated Music Teachers of KC and OMTA. Sale is a singer, soloist with the William Baker Festival Singers of Kansas City (FestivalSingers.org), and she was appointed the WBFS Choral Assistant in 2012. She has served on the staff of the Allegro Children’s Choir of Kansas City (AllegroKC.org) for many years, and in 2013 took a position as vocal coach with the group. Jamea is the Associate Director of the Cathedral Chorale at Grace & Holy Trinity Cathedral in Kansas City, MO.

She was appointed the Education Director of the Institute for Healthy Singing in 2016 and the Executive Associate Director to the Choral Foundation in 2018. She has served on the staff of the Allegro Children’s Choir of Kansas City (AllegroKC.org) for many years, and in 2013 took a position as voice specialist with the group. In 2018, Ms Sale conducted research in collaboration with the University of Kansas, Zhuhai Classical Children’s Chorus and AllegroKC.org on girls changing voice.
