Martin City Melodrama & Vaudeville Co Martin City Melodrama & Vaudeville Co.1 Donations to the Company are fully tax-exempt. The Company also performs fractured fairy tale operettas.

The Martin City Melodrama & Vaudeville Company is a live, professional theater company incorporated as a Missouri Not-For-Profit Corporation, qualified as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Company produces original adaptations of literary classics in the historical melodrama style. In addition, the Company recreates musical revues staged as historical vaudeville

shows. The Company also runs a very successful program called Komedy Kidstitute for Kids! The Komedy Kidstitute Summer Kamp is a 2-week camp teaching children the melodrama and vaudeville art form as well as allowing them the opportunity to produce their own show! There is also a spring and fall session of Komedy Kidstitute Klasses that teaches the melodrama and vaudeville art forms to children as well as allowing them the opportunity to perform in their own show!

Pecos Bill, or How the West Was Fun! A Whimsical Musical Tribute to American Folklore© brings the history and oral tradition of folk-tales to life! Besides Pecos Bill himself, this show introduces our young audiences to Paul Bunyan and his famous Blue Ox, Daniel Boone, Slue-foot-sue and Ole Granny Tucker! As the young’uns clap along to original songs, they deepen their understanding of the timeless lessons found in American folk-tales! As Pecos Bill says, “Just 'cause it's a tall tale don't mean it ain't true.”Come find out for yourself in Martin City Jr’s newest original musical!

Only 2 more weeks to see the two shows EVERYONE is talking about! (And yes I mean everyone). "Rumpelstiltskin...Recycled!?!" and "Completely Hollywood" both close next weekend so make sure you call and reserve tickets at 913-742-7576 before it's too late. Here is the schedule for the last remaining weeks:

1. "Rumpelstiltskin...Recycled!?!" Saturday April 28th at 12:00 pm at the Great Plains Mall in Olathe, KS.

2. "Completely Hollywood" Saturday April 28th at 7:30 at the Metcalf South Shopping Center.

3. "Completely Hollywood" Sunday April 29th at 3:30 at the Metcalf South Shopping Center.

4. "Rumpelstiltskin Recycled" Saturday May 5th at 12:00 pm at the Metcalf South Shopping Center.

5. "Completely Hollywood" Saturday May 5th at 7:30 and Sunday May 6th at 3:30 at the Metcalf South Shopping Center.

If you come to one of these performances and say the secret word: Mulligan, Marcus Mull will personally sing you 30 seconds of a song of his choice. Why you ask? Because we love our customers and I am apparently full of myself and have nothing else to give. Call NOW!

Hello wonderful people. Here is a schedule of what is cooking at the MCM&V this week.

Wednesday- "Rumpelstiltskin...Recycled!?!" at Metcalf South with Sunnyside Elementary at 10 AM. Open to individual tickets for public at this time.

Saturday- "Rumpelstiltskin...Recycled!?!" at Metcalf South at noon. Great seats available at this time.
"Completely Hollywood" at Metcalf South at 7:30 pm. Also great seats available.

Sunday- "Completely Hollywood" at Metcalf South at 3:30 pm.
