Valley View Dance Studio Come dance with us! We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Tumbling, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Modern. We offer recreational classes from age 3 through adults.

Valley View has been offering children the opportunity to dance and tumble for almost 45 years! We offer strong technical training in an environment that is supportive and encouraging. From the tiniest dancers and tumblers all the way to the most "mature" of our adult dancers, it is our aim to not only teach our students the discipline of dance but also to foster and grow their confidence, present

ation skills, leadership, and friendships. Combination classes for our beginners, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern and Tumbling. We have one of the most accomplished tumbling programs in the Kansas City area! We offer the option to compete with our tumbling team in the Mid America Tumbling Society tumbling meets. We have a competitive program for those dancers who would like to have the opportunity to compete. Please come by the studio or give us a call. We would love for you to come dance with us and become part of the Valley View Family!

We love our Abby!

An early June diving accident at Overland Park's Young's Pool left Shawnee Mission West junior Abby Buell with an incomplete spinal injury and 58 days at Children's Mercy Hospital.

She's home now, using a motorized wheelchair, doing physical therapy four afternoons a week and taking an online class to make up for the one she misses. Her parents got an accessible van and poured a ramp; a bathroom renovation is still ahead.

More amazing still: Abby is back on the field with the SM West marching band this football season, rolling alongside her bandmates, and someone is building her an instrument she'll be able to play.
