We haven't posted in a while. Sorry about that. But, I guess the appropriate first post after such a long silence would be something along the lines of ... hey look, we're on TV.

We lost a good friend today. Some called him a rogue; we knew him as noble. Semper fidelis, they say, means always faithful, but semper comes from words that mean one, caring and journeying. He was all these things. Fidelis came from words that meant to command and to trust, and he was a commander, also. Not of men, but of hearts and minds. And I wholly trust that he will not soon be forgotten. To Patrick, the noble Rogue - his journey is done, but his love will live on in all of us.

We made it! Ogrot's fundraiser was a success! But the deadline isn't here yet, so there's still time to donate, if you'd like. All monies given to us will be used to fund this CD project and future film and stage projects, like "That's Science" or our "Glorious Bastards" sketch shows and one-acts. So, keep donating - all your money is going to a great cause: the arts! Even though we've reached our goal, donating money will still get you rewards! So drop a coin today, and get your own copy of the 1490s CD!

The long-awaited CD from the twisted minds at Ogrot, containing music and comedy from the hit stage show "I love the 1490s".

Anyone who was at Patrick Patterson's benefit last night, knows that this is not an April Fool's joke (in November) that aforementioned man is one of the greatest people that Ogrot, or anyone has ever known... and also, yes, it's confirmed: We DO have your two copies. CD should be on sale Black Friday. Patrick, does, infact have the first copy of "Britches and Hose" ever made. It's here. It's real. Thank you for your patience, friends and fans!

Ogrot would like to send out congratulations to their friends George and Breezy on this beautiful day, because they have ushered a new life into this world. Their daughter, Piper, is an inspiration and a symbol of love, and we wish nothing but happiness for the three of them on this momentous day!

So, who would be interested in a CD listening party for Ogrots long-awaited debut cd? When should we have such a thing?

We regret to inform everyone that one of our brothers was forced to succumb to real life and has to step out for the rest of The Kansas City Renaissance Festival. We are deeply saddened to lose Ken Koval for the rest of our run, but all is not lost. Ogrot will now be sharing a stage with Beerside Scoundrels at the Seafarers Beer Garden and due to this development, we're able to welcome Brad Torres aka Kaldash back to our ranks! Brad will be pulling double duty so come out and show your support!

07/02/2011

Our friends at the Beerside Scoundrels have been with us, supporting us since day one. But, it seems we've found our first major rift.

Because, Ogrot will also be playing at Davies Uptown for Pirates Vs. The Undead.
..and Ogrot are the lords of the Undead.

04/25/2011

Ladies and Germs: Ogrot will be Miscreants of Ceremony (MCs) at the Beaumont Club in June for PiratePalooza - the most amazing show you'll ever see, featuring the Musical Blades, B***y Boys and Beerside Scoundrels.
