Hue Creative Studio All about having a space to create and enjoy the process! Hi, I'm Jessica! Art hasn’t always come naturally to me. Kids are like sponges.

There was a time when I was anxious about art because I didn’t think I was “good at it.” Thankfully, I found art again in college, loved it, and vowed to be the type of art teacher that encouraged creativity. I had to work hard at it, but loving the process used to create art is what kept me going. When I realized I could fall in love with art all over again, I was inspired to help kids have that

same experience. I like to share what I know about color and texture with them, and I want to instill the love of art in young people.

Lego Fun!! Students got to break in the new printing press! Designing simple images on graph paper and translated to the Lego plates with Lego dots. Inked up and mass production insued with lots of excitement. The afternoon’s highlight was designing jewelry out of Legos!

Sewing, stuffing and a little hot glue for stuffed foods. The big kids love using the cool cordless glue guns. This project had us talking about food and left us hungry for more creating!!! (And hungry for 🍕)

1. stop by and make a protest sign. (we’ll have some poster board and all the art supplies)
2. snack, sip and collaborate with organizers
3. bring your sign and join the community on March 28 for 6 miles of the No Kings Rally on 3/28!
