Divinity Roxx and Divi Roxx Kids
Starchild vol.1 is a cosmic adventure set to music. Blending hip-hop, funk, storytelling, and boundless imagination, Starchild takes kids and families on a cosmic journey where each song reveals another chapter in one extraordinary girl's search to discover who she truly is, and the star power that's been inside her all along.
Helping bring Starchild's universe to life is an all-star group of collaborators including legendary funk pioneer Bootsy Collins, beloved family music icon Laurie Berkner, GRAMMY Award-winning producer Jerry Wonda (Fugees, Shakira), award-winning mix Engineers Serge Tsai, Eric J. Racy and Marcella Araica, award-winning Mastering Engineer Alex Psaroudakis, longtime collaborator Wayne Gerard, Canadian songwriter and vocalist Aiza, and Divinity's own mother, nieces, nephews, cousins, family friends, and the Atlanta-based Genesis Academy Cheer Squad. Together they create a rich musical landscape that reflects the album's celebration of imagination, connection and belonging.
At the heart of the story is Starchild, a young girl who appears to be an ordinary kid on Earth but is, in fact, a celestial being from a distant galaxy. As mysterious clues begin to reveal her true origins, music becomes the key that unlocks an adventure across dimensions, unforgettable mentors, and the truth about who she really is. Along the way, she discovers that the extraordinary power she's been searching for has been within her all along.
As the story unfolds, each song opens another chapter of Starchild's journey.
