Congrats to Liberty Intermediate (our brand new 6th and 7th grade show choir) for coming out in third place at Cental Lee yesterday! This was their second performance EVER and they are making us so proud.

Join us this Saturday for the annual SWEETS AND SOUNDS event 🎶

Location: OHS Auditorium

Groups featured include the Evans Jazz Band, Supernova Prep Show Choir, OHS Jazz Band, and Sudden Impact Varsity Show Choir.

Doors open at 6pm for some delicious treats, and the show begins at 7pm. $10 admission.

We can’t wait to see you there!

BIG NEWS!!

We are running our SNAP fundraiser again!! HOWEVER - we believe every Ottumwa student deserves to shine with properly cared for equipment and fresh literature, so this year ALL of our students in band, choir, and orchestra will be participating! It is our goal to make our programs accessible for each and every student regardless of cost - from concert ensembles, to jazz band, show choir, and honors programs.

All funds generated will help each and every one of our Fine Arts students with travel, supplies, and other expenses. SUPERNOVA will be using the funds to pay for choreography.

The SUPERNOVA show choir is doing a fundraiser with HY VEE DRUGSTORE! On Wednesday, November 5th if you buy anything from Hy-Vee Drugstore and share a flyer with them, 5% of sales go to our show choir. Students will be handing out flyers, so if you know someone in show choir make sure you get your flyer!! Funds generated help our students to travel, compete, and order costumes :)

Show Choir auditions are today from 3:30-5 and Thursday from 3:30-5 in the auditorium! You do not need to attend both sessions. See you there!!!
