I just got a phone call from the City of Ottawa’s code enforcement officer, Brent Roalson. He is interested in helping us get permitting to re-zone the property as commercial and help us get a business permit so we can get city support and increase our external sound limit from 50db to 60db at the easement. He loves the idea and thinks we are doing positive things for the community. It was a great conversation and a real morale boost.

Thank you, Connie Vignachi, for bringing The Reactor to the city’s attention!!! You are the true hero of this story. Keep up the good work!!! The Reactor, Low Frequency Productions Ottawa and everyone involved in this project appreciates you and all that you have done for us.

If you know Connie, please reach out to her to help express our gratitude and to let her know how much she has helped us.

UPDATE: Adam’s guitar has been recovered!!!!

Come to the Reactor Saturday night to celebrate its return. Bring your instrument, cords, mic, ETC… come Jam!!!

130 DeLeon St. Ottawa

STOLEN GUITAR: 1974 Les Paul Delux

NEW UPDATE FROM ADAM: “Still missing. Morris police have been in contact with me. All the pawn shops that we contacted are aware and it is in the system. Guitar Center sent it out to every store in the district. Please keep sharing and keep an eye out. If anything pops up, you can contact me, Jason Rockford or Julie Newell. Fu**in ridiculous.”

UPDATE: The location of the residence it was stolen from is the 700 block of E. Chapin St in Morris Illinois and the time of the incident was between 10am and 1pm Sunday 2-23-25. Police checked the surveillance tape of the neighbor who has cameras and none of the recordings shows the house where the guitar was stolen from.

This guitar was stolen from a residence in Morris, Illinois Sunday afternoon.

It’s Adam Newell’s. He has had this guitar for nearly 30 years, its the guitar he played in Germany for 80,000 people. It’s his baby, his soul, he is a shell without it.

Please, reach out to us with any information regarding its location.

Please just return the guitar, we will take it back, no questions asked, no repercussions, no hard feelings.

It can be dropped off at any library, fire station, police station, guitar center, pawn shop, our back porch, Adam’s front porch, any where it will find its way back to Adam. Call us, text us, use whatsapp, make up a fake facebook profile and reach out to us and let us know where it is, call crime stoppers, we don’t care, Adam just wants his guitar back.
