Tonight!! It is PRIDE NIGHT at Schweickert Stadium in Peru for the Pistol Shrimp Baseball game versus the Johnstown Mill Rats 🐀 GO SHRIMP!!!!!!

Game starts at 6:35, gates open at 5:35--the first pitch will be from our Gala Silent Auction winner, Sara (wife of our Jordan Block Pride DJ, Steve Whittle (DJ Vinyl Messi!!).

ATTENTION: We do not know who Janet Hall is, and why she was attempting to see HumanKIND shirts! She has been blocked. The ONLY shirts that are authorized by us are sold through SS Shirts N More (our entire collection is on their website). This is where you will find all Mothman, Cigayda, HumanKIND, Pride shirts, tumblers, totes, etc.

We didn't forget about the cookbook! We just realized how busy Pride Month was and it suddenly occurred to us that this is a great project for the Fall!

So, if you thought you missed the recipe submission deadline, think again! You now have until October 1st to send in a recipe so that we can release our Feeding HumanKIND Cookbook for the Holiday Season 😊

We have a couple more thank you's to send out there into the world today.

First, to Matt Farb and Samantha C**n Farb for having the task of picking up the float, hauling that beautiful monstrosity through the parade, and then returning it to its home, we could not be more grateful! You had a huge task, and you really made sure the magic happened. Thank you SO much.

Next, to Carolyn Shockey Jackson and Ray Jackson and the Oddfellows, for letting us borrow that float to decorate! I am.not sure the octopus would have had the same effect if Dylan just dragged it behind him on his rollerblades...so thank you so very much!!

Finally, to the Reddick Public Library District ! For all 5 years, you have been our official Hydration Station for Ottawa Pride, and provided a safe, cool, spot for folks to get a bottled water, air conditioning, and a clean restroom. Plus, water for pets and some great books to boot! We love you, dearly, and are proud to have you in our corner. Thank you, as always.

Drum roll please.....

We are going to use this beautiful picture of Spatz the goat, from 2nd Hand Ranch & Rescue Princeton Illinois , (who had a BLAST at Pride, btw...) to help us announce the team that helped us raise the most money for our $5 for 5 Campaign.

We are so grateful for everyone that participated, and we were blown away by the winning team. Their group garage sale pushed them over the top with a whopping $1227.30 raised...

Please help me in thanking, and congratulating, All Pride, No Prejudice! They will be joing Humankind Initiative on Sunday, June 28th in the Chicago Pride Parade!
