This is a great way to introduce kids into the sport of rodeo, to learn the events and get prepared to move into the Michigan High School Rodeo Association.

SEASON is coming up fast. If you want to get your kids out of the house and around some great people to learn the sport of rodeo, this is the place. MYTRA - Michigan Youth Teaching Rodeo Association is celebrating 10 years of Education and Respect this year!

But we are not your normal Rodeo, we are a teaching association, where we want you to make those mistakes and learn from them. We do not allow the Barn Drama, or Click Mentality of some sports. At MYTRA your only goal is to make your next run better than the last. To learn and to grow as a team with your animal counterpart and to make friends and memories you will never forget. We also work with Michigan High School Rodeo with our dates so that they do not overlap as our goal is to give you the tools necessecary to move up to HS Rodeo, or open rodeos and grow in the sport! We are very sorry to cancel the series, but with the snow dumping on us and the frigid temps expected, we are going to regroup and plan a Spring and Summer Series. We are offering open arena on Saturday 12/6 and 12/13 10am - 5pm. $10/horse. If there is another day you’d like to ride, message Cindy 810-252-4732

For those coming to the barrel race tomorrow - 12337 Frances Rd, Otisville. Between Henderson Rd & Washburn Rd.
Note: Frances Rd does NOT go through from M-15, and our farm road does not go through for the public from the Dodge Rd arena. GPS will lead you astray. Parking is in the field straight across from the indoor, ride horses in the fields south of the indoor. Horses are to enter/exit through the double gates between the two fields, not next to the barn. Concession will be open.
We will run 7 in a section, the next 7 can warm up, then we will drag. There is room for the 1st few horses to stand in the barn. If you’re not able to make it by 5:30 to enter, we can add you at the end of the draw. Western attire NOT required. Thank you, hope to have a fun evening.

Equipment is stored away, dust control applied, so the indoor is ready for riders. We will have open riding as well as private rentals - 4-H clubs, equestrian teams, etc. Contact Cindy 810-252-4732.
