School is getting out soon… be sure to get ready for summer! We have a busy summer schedule with programs for children of all ages and levels. Contact us today to sign up. We will continue to have our regularly scheduled evening dance classes, but here are our camps that will be running for our 2026 summer session.

🎭 Aladdin Theater Camp: For those who want to focus on dance, singing, and acting. Ages 6+

🩰 Ballet Camp: Those who want to learn the most famous ballet stories such as Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty. Ages 4-6 and 7-10

🧑🏽‍🩰 Summer Intensive: Those who want to train in all styles of dance. A good preparation for our Allegro Ballet of Oswego Company. Ages 10+ and 7-10

And to finish the 25/26 season, our last Student of the Month and Senior Spotlight is Mariana 🎓
Mariana joined APA in 2018 and joined our ABO company team in 2019. Throughout her time in ABO she performed in multiple production with featured roles including Clara and Dew Drop Fairy in “The Nutcracker”, one of the step sisters in “Cinderella”, and most recently Rapunzel in our 2026 spring production. She has also competed at local competitions both as soloist and in ensembles, including the prestigious Youth America Grand Prix. At her time at Oswego High School, she was involved in choir, show choir, and their spring musicals with her recent performance as Hélène in “Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet.” She will be majoring in Dance at Illinois State University. Mari we are all so proud of you and can’t wait to see where the future take you. We are so glad to have been apart of your journey and we thank you for all the work you’ve put into our studio!

📣 26/27 Season Announcement
Looking to join our performance and competition team? Audition tomorrow to become apart of our family! Along with required classes and competition participation, our Allegro Ballet of Oswego Company members get featured roles in our two ballet productions. This year we are thrilled to be setting our annual production of “The Nutcracker” as well as bringing back “Sleeping Beauty” in 2027! Audition information is listed below ⬇️

💫 Ages 6-7: Contact us today to take a trial class to be evaluated. Open to dancers who will be 6 by January 1st 2027

💫 Ages 8-11: Sunday May 17th from 12:00-1:00 or contact us to be evaluated

Happy Mother’s Day from Allegro Performing Arts! We are so thankful for all our APA moms for all their help at our studio whether its volunteering backstage at our shows or making sure hair and make up looks right. And a special shout out to our ABO Company moms for being at competition all day. We wish all mothers out there the best day ever!

For performers looking to become a triple threat in dance, singing, and acting, be sure to sign up for our theater camp! This year we will be doing Aladdin for 5 days. The first 4 days will focus on setting an abbreviated version of the musical. The last day will be a dress rehearsal with a performance in studio for all family and friends to attend. This camp will run from July 6th-10th from 9:00-12:30. All children 6 and up are welcome to attend. Our Wicked Camp was a big hit, so be sure to sign up today so you don’t miss this opportunity!
