Eyes up! Registration alert: Most of our June camps have fewer than 10 spots available, particularly for grades K-6.

If you're planning to come on a certain week, but can't register right away, or if you try to register but a camp is full, please send us an email or a PM.

If we know we will be at least five over the planned limit, that helps us begin hiring additional staff to accommodate those campers.

Scholarship funds are still available - email [email protected] to get the request form.

Daily Film Club: Flight of the Midnight Falcon
(an Alberta Midnight story)
6th-12th grade/$90/June 8-12; 9 AM to 4 PM

Ever imagine yourself working on the set of a thrilling action-adventure film? We need you to help bring to life a short, action-packed, Indiana Jones-inspired script that tells the origin story of Alberta Midnight, the great-granddaughter of the legendary treasure hunter Alleghany Kirk.

Alberta Midnight has been a GDYT camp favorite since her first appearance in Summer 2022, leading to the one-act play Alberta Midnight and the Eaters of the Lost Art, which premiered in Summer 2023.

What you’ll do: Take on a role or roles in the production, directing, camera, makeup and wardrobe, or sound departments. We’ll shoot on location around Oskaloosa, learning how to make movies by making one!

If you like: world building AND reading the room, funny voices AND spreadsheets, keeping everyone involved AND moments of intense focus

If you like: developing characters, doing stunts, breaking ancient curses, and carrying 1000 ball bearings (just in case)
