One of the most ambitious exhibitions in the Paine’s history, "The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art" is now on view! The exhibition fills the entire historic mansion, presenting more than 120 Art Nouveau works as they were meant to be seen: in a home.

Beginning in the main gallery, "The Triumph of Nature" opens into a sweeping display of objects that reveal the full range of the Art Nouveau movement, then continues throughout the Library, Dining Room, Great Hall, and more.

Furniture, glass, sculpture, posters, and decorative arts nestle into the Paine’s historic settings and infuse each space with a new level of richness and detail. Inspiration from nature and innovative design ideas appear all along the way.

Auditions for performances of the Nutcracker with Valley Academy for the Arts are coming up!

🎄 Nutcracker Participation Forms Are Now Available! 🎄

Valley Academy for the Arts is excited to begin preparations for this year’s Nutcracker performances! Participation Forms must be completed by July 17th for all students and community members interested in being part of this beloved holiday tradition.

This year, casting will be organized by class levels to help support the growing number of performances and create a more balanced rehearsal and performance experience for our dancers.

✨ Community participation is welcome!
Both children and adults are invited to be part of the production.

• Adults do not need to audition — simply complete the Participation Form to be included.
• Children interested in performing should attend one of the following audition opportunities:

This summer, wander the historic Paine mansion filled with more than 100 Art Nouveau treasures! "The Triumph of Nature: Art Nouveau from the Chrysler Museum of Art" opens Saturday, June 13.

"The Triumph of Nature" features works by world-renowned artists like Louis Comfort Tiffany, Alphonse Mucha, and Émile Gallé presented as they were meant to be seen... in a home! Displayed throughout the mansion’s elegant rooms, discover a wide variety of Art Nouveau works, from furniture and glass to posters, sculpture, mosaic, and more.

Artists designed these works to complement each other in elaborate ensembles, and within the historic setting of the Paine, the exhibition offers a glimpse of how Art Nouveau interiors once felt: opulent, intricate, and flowing with movement and detail.
