I HAVE to give a big shout out to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society for being a part of yesterday’s event! I was telling them a story about how our cat Harry brings us his favorite toys from upstairs and drops them on the landing floor. Everyday, we take them upstairs, he brings them back down! One of his absolute favorite toys is the crochet mint colored heart we got him last year at Fall in Love with handmade urban craft fair from OAHS AND they gifted us a new one! He LOVES it and funny brought both of them downstairs this morning! ❤️ Thank you OAHS for being so awesome!

Thank you to everyone who came out to Fall in Love with handmade urban craft fair yesterday! It was such a fun day! ❤️ Thank you to all of the wonderful makers/vendors who shared their work! I couldn’t do this without you! Thank you becket's and their great staff! Here are some of the things I purchased yesterday! I litterally could have bought something from everyone!

I thought I would share the reason we donate to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society and introduce myself. My name is Michelle and along with help from my husband Bill we run Thrifty-Fox and I am the Organizer of Fall in Love with handmade urban craft fair and Handmade for the Holidays Urban Craft Fair. ❤️
We adopted our sweet “Lizzie” aka Kitty there. She was a beautiful long haired Siamese mix with underlying health issues. She had been returned to OAHS several times and had been there over 8 months when we adopted her. She came with a book (literally) pages of things her previous owners, foster care said about her. She was NONE of those things to us! She was so sweet and would greet me every morning with nose rubs while I got her wet food ready. She was the best Kitty I have ever had up until that point. Her life was cut short and we only had her just shy of two years when she got sick and was gone. It was truly heart breaking to us! We donate to OAHS in her honor & in her memory. All pets need a second, third chance or just maybe that home that’s just right for them. We now have 5 pets Sampson a frenchie-Boston who is 8, Gus our pug-Boston who is 3, Hank & Harry tabby cat brothers we got after Kitty passed because we missed her so much and are just the best cats and now 7 and their little sister Fiona who we found hidden in our car wheel well one Fall and we brought her in and kept her, she is 6. We recently had to say goodbye to our 15 year old pug Dexter, I miss him so much! To say we love animals is an understatement! Thank you Oshkosh Area Humane Society for all that you do for the animals in our community!
