Before I broke my dominant wrist I joined an online painting course but only completed 1 painting. So I decided to stick it out , thanks to the encouraging words from the group I decided to try left handed and this is my finished piece . The hardest part is getting my gouache paint tubes open and being patient with myself for how much longer it takes. Thanks Jim Musil Painter for my second try with " Purple Coneflowers".

4 weeks ago this happened and changed my world greatly!! A broken wrist was not in the plans but thanks to Andrew Olson for finishing up my clients projects I was in the middle of and a thank you to Donna Carpenter for her expert lazer engraving these beautiful name plates. We were able to finish them. Im about half way healing but feels like forever!!

Trying out a new online course this is a new technique and style for me and this is my first one completed ...this one is titled " Snowy Trees" ...by Jim Musil Painter . Our styles are different and Im using gouache as my medium instead of acrylic which came with lots of challenges but I hope to combine lots of his ideas into my own style. This one is a 6x6 on a wood panel. Im excited to try another one !!

This one steals my heart!! My little helper Myles worked so hard this week helping me sort and clean moulding for my new frame moulding space....these are the best moments ever ❤️!!

Beautiful , perfect day to sort frame moulding for my new frame space . Getting organized takes alot of time and patience but it will be so great when I'm done. This building has gone through many faces over 100 yrs. It was built in 1888 and was the first milkhouse for the farm we call it the " wellhouse " it's the building by our well and it use to have a windmill outside of it. This will be my moulding room where I store all my frames and moulding and where I do my cutting and joining. It feels good having everything in one spot instead of six different places . It's a work in progress but I feel it's finally coming together and I love this cozy building!!

What a beautiful diamond beaded art piece!! This was so fun to frame for my friend and client. She did an amazing job on this beautiful treasure. I love the colors in this! We decided to repurpose an existing frame and she chose museum glass to capture all the beauty in the beads as they sparkle in the light. This piece is something to be very proud of. Beautiful piece ❤️

I haven't done a paint party's since 2019 this was a fun birthday party I did last Friday afternoon for my very special friend and neighbor Ellery. These young ladies were amazing they were such a treat and they loved taking turns reading outloud each painting step as we painted together. You all did such a great job ! Happy Birthday Ellery!
