I took this picture in my kitchen a few years ago. The man that can be seen near the window was mine and my husband's best friend who died of a drug overdose. We moved into the house 3 years after he died in the house. You can see his hat, eyes, nose and beard. This picture was taken at night.

Saturday April 18th was my husband Roberts Celebration of Life Service. Other than a couple of glitches it turned out to be a beautiful day, full of laughter, memories and few tears. I really hope he loved how I did his service.

It is with a heavy heart to let everyone know from myself that Robert Washburn lost the battle with Cancer, that he fought so hard to beat, on my birthday Feb. 23rd. But now he is wrapped in the arms of God and free of pain. Rest in peace and now you can play horseshoes again with your parents in God's Golden Gates. The greatest birthday gift he could give to me was him being out of pain and in peace.

Robert had been fighting a cough for about a month. Finally Nov. 20th he got him a dr. Appt. When they did a chest CT Scan they found a large mass. He got transferred to Wichita St. Francis Via Christie. Now we are on a waiting game with Pathology to get the results done so we know what type of cancer it is they are dealing with, and the plan of action for treatment. On top of all this he went into Afib about 2 pm. yesterday, so he is now in ICU. They were able to put a pic line in thru his groin.

It’s an 🎃ctober “Halloween" 👻 story! This one is in Rooks County. Fourteen years ago or 100+ years ago? I was given permission to share this picture and story by Bonnie Harrison Staab. The picture came from their trail cam on their land north of Plainville. Bonnie shared the photo and wrote the following about the picture. “This little mystery girl was never identified. This picture was taken by our trail camera on our land north of Plainville in 2011. Jerry had just begun digging a pond. I researched the land history and in the late 1800's three little girls died of diphtheria while living on this property....could this be paranormal activity? If not, who is this little girl and why was there no adult captured in this picture? There were no footprints in the dirt. We live in a small community and it seems like someone should be able to identify her. ANYONE??? Hmmmmm just sayin'.”
