MEET THE FACULTY FRIDAY ✨

Meet Miss Lindsey!

Lindsey’s love for dance began at just 3 years old at a studio in St. Louis, where she later spent many years teaching and sharing that same love with her students.

After moving to the Lake of the Ozarks 16 years ago, Lindsey continued her passion for dance and youth development. Now, her love for dance has come full circle as her daughter dances right here at Dance Complex LOZ! 💕

Lindsey is passionate about helping her students build confidence, express their creativity, and reach their full potential. We are so excited to have her back for her second season at DCLOZ!

FUN FACT: Lindsey once worked aboard a cruise ship traveling the Hawaiian Islands! 🌺🚢 And she loves baton twirling! ✨

MEET THE FACULTY FRIDAY ✨

Meet Miss Alli! 💕

Alli has been teaching dance for 9 years in a variety of styles and loves watching her students grow, gain confidence, and accomplish new skills!

She grew up dancing in Columbia and had some incredible opportunities along the way, including performing in ballets with Missouri Contemporary Ballet and competing nationally in acrobatic gymnastics!

Alli also earned her degree in Education from Mizzou and loves bringing that background into the dance studio. One of her favorite parts of teaching is watching a dancer take the stage for the very first time! ✨

Outside of the studio, Alli stays busy running her boutique, AP & Company, and fostering dogs for the animal shelter. 🐾

We are SO excited to have Miss Alli as part of our Dance Complex LOZ faculty and can’t wait for all the dancing, learning, and memories ahead! 💕

💕 Meet the Faculty Friday: Lexie!

Lexie has been dancing since age two and competing since five, with years of training in ballet, jazz, and contemporary. She began teaching at just 16 and has continued sharing her love of dance with students ever since.

✨ Fun fact: In 2018, Lexie had the incredible opportunity to audition and compete on So You Think You Can Dance!

What makes Lexie so special goes far beyond her experience. She truly pours her heart into her students—celebrating their wins, encouraging them through the hard days, and helping each dancer see just how capable they are. Her love for her students shines through in everything she does. 🩷

It started with two… then they called a friend over to join them… and then they waited for one more to come running over. 🥹✨

And just like that, this little moment became one of our favorites.

This is what dance is all about. The friendships. The inclusion. The “come take a picture with us!” moments. 🩷

One of our own is going through an unimaginable loss.

Our sweet student Nora unexpectedly lost her dad, and right now, we want to do what our dance family does best — show up for one another.

Next Saturday, we’re opening our studio doors and inviting our entire community to come together for:

NO ONE DANCES ALONE
A Benefit for Nora & Her Family

🗓 Saturday, September 19
⏰ 1:00–2:30 PM
📍 Dance Complex LOZ
🩷 $20 suggested donation
✨ ALL AGES welcome!

Our faculty will be donating their time to lead fun dance classes throughout the studio. Come dance, bring your friends, bring your family, or simply stop by to show your support.

You do not have to be a dancer. You do not have to be a member of our studio. Everyone is welcome.

100% of the proceeds will go directly to Nora and her family to help support them during this incredibly difficult time. Her Venmo is @ alisuper

We would LOVE to fill this studio. Even if you can’t attend, sharing this post helps us reach more people and surround this family with as much love and support as possible.

✨ MEET THE FACULTY FRIDAY ✨

Meet Miss Justine! 💕

Justine grew up dancing and later found her love for coaching tumbling, gymnastics, and All-Star Competitive Cheer—coaching several award-winning teams along the way! After a little “retirement,” she’s back and joining her daughter right here at Dance Complex LOZ. 🖤

You’ll find Justine teaching Tumbling + Yoga at DCLOZ! She’s been passionate about yoga for 15 years and became officially certified in 2019. 🧘‍♀️

Her favorite quote:
“A goal is a dream with its work boots on.” ✨

And don’t miss your chance to take class with her! Join Justine for Hot Vinyasa every Thursday at 7 PM! 🔥🧘‍♀️
