Hi Glasshoppers:

Hope everyone had a very Happy Thanksgiving?

I just wanted to get a note out about this weeks classes, we have open studio on Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday we have the “Christmas Plate” with snowman, teacher Lynda Rivard, cost is $45.00, Thursday we have another Safety and Orientation class taught by Sharon Marchant, cost $30.00, and Friday we have the “Winter Curved Tea Light Pillar Candle”, teacher Alysa Phiel, cost $65.00.

Please check out the Ranch Reminders sent out by Alex on Monday to see the full description of this weeks classes. Please e-mail me at [email protected] if you would like to attend any class, I will then notify you that a space is reserved for you.

With this weekends Art Walk at the ranch, I would like to invite you to come up to the Art and Technology Building and come in to the GlassHoppers Glass Studio and see what we have been up to. There are many things to see and some students creations available for sale. The studio will be open this Saturday, October 27th from 11:00 - 4:00. Please stop in.

Stained Glass Spider Class
Cost: $45.00

Monday, October 15th – 9:30am-11:30am

Just in time to add some creepy crawly to Halloween, learn to make a stained glass glob spider. This fun little project is a great way to get comfortable with copper foiling and soldering.
The spider can stand, legs can be bent to be attach to a web or branch or be suspended from fishing line.
Prerequisite: Stained glass experience is helpful but not required

Material fee: $5.00 payable to instructor (cash or check)

Enrollment: 8 students
