🎷✨ ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: CLAY BENJAMIN ✨🎸

From gospel roots to contemporary fusion jazz, Clay Benjamin’s musical journey is a story of discovery, passion, and evolution.

Born in Palatka, Florida and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Clay grew up surrounded by gospel, blues, and country music. At 13, he picked up the guitar—and by 16, he was performing with his first band, One Accord.

Then came a cassette tape that changed everything. 🎶

Hearing The Yellowjackets introduced Clay to a world of contemporary fusion jazz he had never experienced before. Years later, he would find himself opening for the very artists who inspired him, along with legendary performers including Ray Charles, James Brown, Chuck Loeb, and The Commodores.

In 1997, Clay became lead guitarist for smooth jazz artist Paul Howard and fusion jazz group Segue, continuing to develop his distinctive sound and stage presence.

Today, Clay is also a writer, producer, and solo instrumental artist, with his album Intervention showcasing his artistry and evolution as a musician.

🎶 Now you have the opportunity to experience Clay Benjamin LIVE!
