It’s National Oyster Day, after all.

We’ve loved being part of Orleans First Friday this summer—and this week, we’re doubling the fun.

Stop by our tent beside Sunbird, then head to the gallery for an evening of art, oysters, and great conversation. David will be shucking from 5–8 PM.

Come for the oysters, stay for the art—or the other way around. Either way, you won’t want to miss it.

Bound for the dogfish grounds, happy to see the sun again.

The longliner F/V Alicia Ann makes her way north toward the dogfish grounds east of Cape Cod—caught in a rush of salt, spray, light, and blue.

Goin’ to the Dogs is available as a hand-signed limited edition fine art photograph at David Hills Gallery in Orleans.

“There was a moment where the sun came up and the fog parted just enough for this really sublime color to suffuse the fog…” - David Hills

Some photographs are planned. Others simply appear and disappear.
