Every live gig is an adventure, but after years of navigating the same hilarious, exhausting, and downright bizarre chair behaviors, I realized it was time to put the unwritten rules into stone. Literally.
I designed these tablets to gently (and comically) remind everyone that while caricature is the realm of exaggeration, the artist’s chair operates under sacred laws. From the “glowing pocket-rectangle” distraction to the sudden “fellowship of five” appearing at the final whistle, these are the truths we live by on the fairgrounds.
Next time you hit my chair, remember: let the creator create in peace, and please—no chowing down or aggressively chewing gum! 🙌✨
P.S. Want to bring these rules to your own studio or workspace? Stickers of these commandments will be available soon in the Dennis Draws Redbubble store! Keep an eye out for the drop. 🎉
