Success don’t come easy—you gotta want it bad enough to die for it. 💯 I’ve been working nonstop, sometimes with no results, but that’s the test. You keep pushing, keep grinding, and sometimes the breakthrough shows up right in the middle of the work. Look at Zaytoven—he was cutting hair by day, making beats by night, until one song with Gucci Mane changed his whole life. 🎹🔥 That’s proof the grind pays off. So I ask you… how bad do you want it?
• Early Life & Passion: Zaytoven (Xavier Dotson) grew up in church playing piano and organ—music was always part of him.
• Grinding & Sacrifices: He moved to Atlanta, worked as a barber by day, and built his studio equipment from barber money. At night, he locked in making beats in his basement.
• No Instant Results: For years, he made beats for free, passing them around, not seeing big success right away.
• Breakthrough Moment: He connected with Gucci Mane early in Gucci’s career. Their collaboration on “Icy” (with Young Jeezy) blew up and put both Gucci and Zaytoven on the map.
• Consistency & Legacy: Zaytoven stayed consistent, building his catalog and sound. His grind led him to become one of the most respected producers in hip-hop, working with Usher, Future, Migos, and more—all while staying humble and grounded in his faith.
👉🏾 The lesson: Zaytoven didn’t blow up overnight. He stacked small wins, worked through the years of “no results,” and his breakthrough came while he was still grinding.
