It was an HONOR to be featured in the 45th Annual Jacksonville MLK Day Parade to celebrate the life, legacy, and work of Dr Martin Luther King Jr. I had the honor to be featured along with my Jr Miss Juneteenth of Florida USA Camryn Butts, and Little Miss Juneteenth of Florida USA Jayel Daymond! We were able to meet and connect with the Miss and Jr Miss Juneteenth's of Jacksonville at the MLK Day celebration at James Weldon Johnson Park; and each showed off our unique talents where I was able to recite my own poetry about Claudette Colvin. To finish off the day we were able to enjoy lemonade from The Lemon Laid Lady's stand, and were able to support many local black owned businesses!
