Disneyland Resort is offering a specially priced Evening Ticket for a limited time, giving guests the chance to experience either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park after dark. Available for use on Sundays through Wednesdays from July 12th through August 5th, 2026, the ticket includes access to nighttime entertainment, iconic attractions, delicious dining, and all the excitement of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration. Sales begin on June 30th, 2026, and valid theme park reservations are required and subject to availability.

One of the funniest moments in Toy Story comes when Buzz Lightyear gets “drunk” after drinking tea at Sid’s house, causing him to stumble around, slur his words, and hilariously proclaim, “I am Mrs. Nesbitt!” The scene became a fan favorite thanks in large part to Tim Allen, who improvised many of Buzz’s goofy laughs, hiccups, and exaggerated delivery during the recording session. The filmmakers encouraged Allen to play around with the dialogue, and several of his ad-libs were so funny that they were kept in the final film, helping turn the tea party sequence into one of the most memorable and quotable scenes in Disney and Pixar history.

The Disney Parks fan community has erupted with criticism following the reveal of the new pirate captain audio-animatronic coming to Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland. Many longtime fans have flooded social media with complaints, arguing that the new figure feels out of place and doesn’t match the classic style that has defined the attraction for decades. While Disney continues to modernize its attractions with cutting-edge technology, a large portion of the fanbase believes this is another example of fixing something that wasn’t broken. Whether opinions change once guests experience it in person remains to be seen, but for now, the backlash has become one of the biggest Disney Parks debates online currently!

If you’re hoping to experience the original Haunted Mansion at Disneyland this summer, plan your visit before August 8th. The attraction will be closed from August 8th to August 21st as Imagineers transform it into the fan-favorite Haunted Mansion Holiday, inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas. During the closure, the classic mansion will receive its annual seasonal overlay featuring Jack Skellington, Sally, Oogie Boogie, and festive Halloween and Christmas-themed décor. Haunted Mansion Holiday is expected to welcome back guests beginning August 21st, just in time for Disneyland’s Halloween season.

Construction of EPCOT’s iconic Spaceship Earth began in 1979, transforming an ambitious vision into one of the most recognizable structures in theme park history. Standing 180 feet tall and measuring 165 feet in diameter, the massive geodesic sphere is made up of nearly 12,000 aluminum panels attached to a steel framework weighing thousands of tons. Rather than being a solid ball, Spaceship Earth consists of two nested spheres with a drainage system that channels rainwater through the structure and into the World Celebration gardens below. When EPCOT opened on October 1, 1982, Spaceship Earth immediately became the park’s centerpiece, welcoming guests into a journey through the history of human communication while showcasing the innovative engineering and storytelling that define Disney Imagineering.

Walt Disney Imagineering has unveiled an incredible new Audio-Animatronic for Pirates of the Caribbean that pushes Disney storytelling to the next level. Debuting after the attraction's refurbishment at Disneyland, the all-new figure seamlessly transforms from a living pirate into a weathered skeleton using cutting-edge projection mapping, synchronized lighting, and incredibly lifelike animation. The effect creates one of the most realistic transformations ever seen inside a Disney attraction, showcasing how Imagineering continues to blend classic storytelling with groundbreaking technology while honoring the timeless legacy of Pirates of the Caribbean.

This beloved holiday event will take place on select nights from November 8 through December 22, with party hours running from 7:00 p.m. to midnight. Guests with event tickets can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 p.m. to maximize their holiday fun.

Fan-favorite entertainment returns, including Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration at Cinderella Castle, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, and the Frozen Holiday Surprise castle show. Guests can also enjoy complimentary cookies and hot cocoa throughout the park, holiday-themed overlays on attractions such as Jingle Cruise and Space Mountain, dance parties, rare character meet-and-greets, festive photo opportunities, and exclusive holiday food and beverage offerings.

Tickets go on sale July 16, 2026, with early purchase access beginning July 9 for guests staying at select Disney Resort hotels. Event tickets range from $179 to $229 per person, with discounts available for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members.

Toy Story Mania!, located underneath the loop of California Screamin’, “shrinks” guests to the size of a toy and tests their skills in a series of 3D carnival games. It features many characters from Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story” films.
