After selling out performances across South Florida, the Rashida Costa Theatre Tour is bringing these powerful stories to Conyers, Georgia November 28th 1PM and 5PM at the CRCA Theatre.
One Black soldier. One broken promise. One fight for the life he earned.
AT ALL COST tells the story of Wray Edmond, a Black soldier returning home after World War II. He served his country believing the GI Bill would help him build a better life for himself and his family. Instead, he faced discrimination and was denied the benefits he had earned.
But he refused to give up.
MORE THAN JUST WOMEN takes us into the 1952 polio outbreak and the story of Dr. Saleem, a determined physician fighting to save lives while confronting the barriers and prejudice placed before women in medicine.
She refused to allow discrimination to define her ability to lead, heal, and make a difference.
Two stories. Two battles. One refusal to be denied.
These are more than plays. They are stories of courage, resilience, injustice, perseverance, and the determination to fight for what is right.
If audiences across South Florida sold out these productions, there is a reason.
