One last vacation memory before jumping back into the school year! ☀️✈️

After an amazing trip to the Dominican Republic, I discovered something I never expected...

A swimming pool at the airport. 😆🏖️

Yep—an outdoor pool right at Punta Cana Airport! Such a fun surprise and a pretty awesome way to relax before a flight home.

Now it's time to trade vacation mode for rehearsals, classes, and another exciting season ahead. ❤️

Bravery doesn’t mean you never feel tired or unsure.

Many dancers are already trying their best —
self-coaching, pushing forward, and hoping they’re improving.

When things feel overwhelming,
it’s okay to admit that doing it all alone is hard.

Growth often happens faster and more confidently
when dancers feel supported, understood,
and surrounded by others who are working toward similar goals.

Bravery isn’t about doing more.
Sometimes it’s about allowing support along the way.

If you ask me... flap heels are one of the best ways to travel. 👣

Forward, backward, across the floor... they're smooth, they're fun, and they're one of those steps I could do all day.

Happy ! 🖤

What an incredible week with Pure International! ✨

I had the opportunity to choreograph the opening number for the returning queens, then turn around and help judge as we welcomed a brand-new group of titleholders.

It's always an honor to be trusted with both the creative side and the judging side of an event. I never take that responsibility lightly, and I'm so grateful to work alongside such an amazing panel of judges.

Congratulations to all of the contestants for sharing your hard work and heart on stage. ❤️

Fear doesn’t need to be gone to move forward.
It softens when the body and brain learn, I’ve done this before.

Repetition builds safety.

You never know what you're going to find when you simply go for a walk. 🌈

I was in Branson for Nationals and decided to take a hot Pilates class before the USA World Cup match. On my walk back to the hotel, I looked up and found this incredible rainbow stretching across the sky.

One of those little reminders that some of the best moments aren't planned—they just happen when you're paying attention.

Definitely a pretty special way to start the evening. ❤️

Learning choreography improves attention to detail and precision.

Not every class has to be all or nothing.

It’s easy for dancers to label a class as “bad”
and mentally check out from there.

But fatigue, stress, or an off day
doesn’t mean growth isn’t possible.

Instead of spiraling into frustration,
there’s value in asking a different question:
What can I still get out of this class today?

Shifting that mindset helps dancers leave class
with learning — not negative self-talk
that carries into the rest of their day.

Growth doesn’t come from avoiding hard days.
It comes from navigating them with awareness and intention.

Some tap steps just feel good... and this is one of them. 👣

Four trenches, then chug shuffles (or hop shuffles but just with a heavy weight for bass sound and fun).

No choreography. No performance. Just enjoying some of my favorite movements and making a little noise.

Happy ! 🖤
