Sad news out of Spain. Parque de Atracciones de Zaragoza will not be opening for the 2026 season due to ongoing financial difficulties with it’s parent company, Fénix Entertainment, which is currently involved in bankruptcy proceedings.

Great news out of Pennsylvania! Waldameer announced that the park will be opening Eagle's Pursuit, a new Vekoma family launch coaster, in 2027. Built directly into the hillside, the ride will launch out of the station and dive into the ravine before a second mid‑course launch propels riders back uphill for a fast, airtime‑filled finale.

Switzerland's tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster is coming to CONNY-LAND! Massai will be 72 feet (22 m) tall, 1,640 feet (500 m) long, and reach speeds up to 53.4 mph (86 km/h). The LSM launched MACK Rides BigDipper coaster is scheduled to open in 2027.

Today Walibi Belgium announced that the park's Loup-Garou (Werewolf) coaster will be getting a Rocky Mountain Construction I-Box track conversion. The Vekoma wooden coaster will be closing later this year, with the new one scheduled to open in 2028.

The world's longest family launch coaster is coming to Six Flags Fiesta Texas in 2027! Propelled by four launches throughout the 4120 feet (1256 m) ride layout, Werewolf Gorge will feature 32 exhilarating airtime moments and speeds up to 45mph.

Valgard at Paultons Park is one of, if not the, best themed areas in the UK. features the park’s first ever coaster inversion and is full of punchy thrills from the pre-show to the breaks - a lot crammed in a small space and ideal for young ‘uns! is a superb re-theme glow up of Cobra, the station is incredible and it rides like it’s brand new, with an awesome track interaction with Drakon. Vild Swing makes our heart sing - bouncy fun and a great swooping sensation. The Feasting Hall is impressive; not only can you experience the immediately iconic Golden Apple Frost drink, but you can eat in a Viking longboat and the tables are shaped like boats; incredible detail throughout. All topped off by loads of impressive theming, animatronics, and sounds.

Sad news with Niagara Amusement Park & Splash World at Fantasy Island in Grand Island, New York, announcing it will not open for the 2026 season. Home to Silver Comet, a classic CCI wooden coaster, the park cited attendance and revenue insufficient to keep it operational.

Aquatopia at Tokyo DisneySea will end September 14th. The limited time "Get Soaked" version of the ride will return for the final weeks prior to the closure. The popular water ride attraction has been operating since the park opened in 2001.
