Join Allison Sipes for a 6 week Beginner Pole Fitness Series that progresses from week to week, getting you ready for intermediate level pole, refining the foundational techniques and bridging the gap between intro and beginner levels. The series materials have been expertly developed by and will be delivered by an award winning master trainer to provide the most enriching experience for the beginner level dancer.
Classes are every week for 6 weeks on Tuesday’s at 6:30pm. These 60 minute classes will incorporate the foundations of pole dancing, climbing, sitting, beginner spins, and pole to floor transitions. This series will focus on dance style and coordination skills, movement, free dance interpretation, body alignment, fluidity, and confidence building through body awareness and technique, as well as mini routines.
This series is designed to enhance students’ relationships with the “pole” and to expand the range of moves that can be performed given time and practice. Attention is also given to building upper body strength and flexibility, all of which contribute to gaining pole skills. Each week will build on previous week’s lesson, ensuring a comprehensive and progressive format for all students. The instructor will also work independently with students to master pole spins, turns, climbs, and floor work as their experience allows and at their own pace.
Students meet with the same group each week, to encourage community building and learning support.
