On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we reflect on the profound wisdom and unwavering vision of a man who dared to dream of a more just and equitable world. His words, "We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools," resonate with urgent truth today.

At The Bridge Theatre, we believe that understanding the past is essential for building a better future. That's why we are honored to bring the Florida premiere of Anne & Emmett to our stage.

This powerful play imagines a conversation between Anne Frank & Emmett Till—two young lives tragically cut short, yet whose stories echo Dr. King's call for understanding, empathy, and an end to prejudice. Their meeting in "Memory" serves as a poignant reminder that while their worlds were separated by continents and contexts, the human struggle against hatred is universal.

As Dr. King taught us, the fight for justice is ongoing. We invite you to join us in remembering these pivotal voices and continuing the essential conversation.
