Tattoo studios are NOT part of Phase 1 in reopening the state. As soon as we get more info we will make sure we keep everyone informed as to our plan and get back to rescheduling appointments in a restructured manner under the new guidelines and what we feel is the safest way possible. We just want everyone to stay safe and healthy. Hope to see you all soon.

Rise Above Tattoo opened in 2011 with the help of many friends and hit the ground running. After months of set back with the city, we started working at 1009 N. Mills. It was a far busier launch than anticipated, so we kept pushing back the grand opening party. Finally, figuring since it’s somewhat chill right after the holidays, we’d throw a wild party and hang out with our friends. That evening was legendary for me in the Mills50. It was exactly what I hoped a neighborhood block party would be. Thanks to everyone who was part of this. What an awesome night!
Too many to tag, so I hope y’all see this. Check out that giant cake!

Thanks to everyone who voted for us! We try not to focus on the competitive aspect of business and just do the best we can, so it’s really nice to have clients/friends/family (all the same to us) appreciate us enough to take the time to vote. Much appreciated and congrats to the other shops! Thanks again!

Hello friends! As the 2019/2020 school year creeps up on us, we will again begin collecting those older backpacks that are no longer in use.
The bags will be used for the OCPS food pantry program to inconspicuously send home food for families in need.
If you have backpacks, please feel free to drop them by the shop or message us.
