Two of Orlando Fringe’s biggest breakout hits return for one hilarious evening during Fringe Favorites at Dr. Phillips Center, coming to Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater on September 10!

Against Her Wishes is a semi-improvised, musical, comedic and irreverent farewell that invites audiences to grieve, laugh and celebrate. How to Play Guitar (Poorly) features beloved Orlando musician and actor Chase Padgett in a solo comedic cabaret exploring his lifelong relationship with music through story, song and a few unforgettable improv moments made up on the spot.

August Student Spotlight! Meet nine-year-old Charlotte DiMercurio-Ruiz, who has been a student at Dr. Phillips Center’s AdventHealth Orlando School of the Arts since November 2024.

This summer, she took the stage in three musical theater camps including Best of Broadway, Undersea Adventure and Villain Vibes—bringing her total to six School of the Arts programs.
