It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend and committee member, Shawna Gore, on October 6, 2026. Shawna served on our Market Swine Committee since 2021 and the Rabbit & Cavy Committee since 2017, giving countless hours to the youth, the animals, and the programs she loved so much.

Shawna’s kindness, dedication, and steady presence made our Livestock Programs stronger. Her passion for helping exhibitors and her willingness to jump in wherever needed will be deeply missed.

Please keep Shawna’s family and loved ones in your thoughts & Prayers as they navigate through this difficult time.
