Florida Reeds Florida Reeds is the creation of Devin Bieber, a bassoonist, and educator in Central Florida.

His goal is to create affordable, innovative, and quality double reed products. The current products available are the result of product trials and feedback.

Shop Update 11/21/21:
✅ Finally finishing up the remainder of orders placed during the 25/20/15% off sale. Needless to say, this has been a learning experience for us at Florida Reeds!! Didn’t expect so much interest in that sale!!
I appreciate everyone’s patience, I’ve never forgotten about anyones order. The large number of custom color requests for each order really slowed things down.

✅ The pricing structure for our products has changed a bit. I now have “standard” color options for a lower price (black and translucent cases), with the ability to order other colors and customizations at a slight premium.

This is to speed up manufacturing going forward.

Today was a huge success!! This is the first double reed day I’ve planned myself, and I couldn’t be any happier with the outcome!! Nothing would’ve been possible without , , and the interns! was a wonderful bassoon clinician, and an MVP with the bassoon reed-making segment. Shoutout to professor Hawkins for the oboe clinic and for helping to rehearse the oboes and teach the oboe reed-making.
More photos were taken (I took these so I’m not in them lol) so expect to see more in the coming days/weeks.

Whilst working orders, I’ve recently updated all of my standard oboe reed cases! They have been streamlined, and reduced in size approx. 25%. All orders placed for oboe reed cases from July and onwards will be sent in this new, updated form.
