The 2026 AGFM Summer Camp is complete 🎶

Our largest camp yet needed not one but two separate photos to capture all of our campers! Roughly 170 students across five distinct ensembles spent the week learning new pieces, brushing up on music theory, studying chamber music, creating fun musical crafts, and making life long memories 🎻 We hope to see you all back for Saturday Strings in the fall!

Instructor Spotlight: Chavellee Almonte 🎶

Ms. Almonte is not only a current instructor with Orange County Public Schools, but also an alum of the University of Central Florida, two of A Gift for Music's long time partners.

Chavellee Almonte is a dedicated cellist, educator, and proud graduate of the University of Central Florida. She is currently in her second year as the Orchestra Director at Westridge Middle School, where she inspires students to discover their musical potential. In addition to her work in the classroom, Chavellee has taught private lessons in both cello and guitar and is in her third year as a co-instructor with A Gift for Music, working with the Alley Oop! Strings and Concert Strings Orchestras. Passionate about both performing and teaching, she strives to share her love of music and foster creativity in every student she works with.

Summer Camp Day 1 ✅️

The first day of the 2026 A Gift for Music Summer Camp is in the books 🎶 With close to 170 students in attendance, this will be AGFM's largest camp yet! We are excited for a week of music, laughter, and learning 🎻

Today we celebrate our AGFM seniors who are graduating from Orange County Public Schools! Through years of dedication, these students have grown not only as musicians, but as leaders, mentors, and role models within our community.
