The Lab Rats ensemble is made up of selected graduates from our SAK University Improv Classes. These wonderful improvisers are continuing their improv education with SAK. Every Tuesday night they gather for a workshop and later that night will perform in a show for the public at 9:00 p.m. The format of the Lab Rat show is generally a competitive form of improv featuring short scenes, songs, and ot
her warm-up or elimination games. Using audience suggestions as their base, the players spring into scenes competing for audience laughs. In the current RAT RACE show format, 9 players compete in a fast-paced, high-energy elimination-style show. Players earn points from the audience for each scene and the player with the most points at the end of the show wins the battle! The Lab Rats group is led by John Hunter, a SAK professional ensemble member who conducts the weekly workshops, schedules players for the shows, and gives notes on performances. We had our final class tonight ending it with a phenomenal culminating project: King Lear's Edmund the base monologue. Excellent work tonight Chris!!

Day 2 of International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo / IAAPA 2016. The expo floor opens today with 9 miles of exhibits. I have several companies that have contacted me asking for interviews. We will do them live on FB then take the contact and use it on the air. This is exciting stuff.
Then later tonight I will be performing with the SAK Lab Rats @ SAK Comedy Lab tonight. So tonight after the day is over and you want to hang out it is only $5 to get in and I get 4 comps.
