It was brought to my attention that I never shared the FINAL part of the series! Well… here it is! 🎉

I had two major events that I was working on and, honestly, I had to press pause on everything else. Multitasking apparently does NOT exist for me anymore… 😂 (Not sure it ever did, if we’re being honest! 🤷🏾‍♀️)

But anyway… our client was happy, and so were we! ❤️

Let’s build this balloon garland! 👀

In Part 2, I’m showing you how we take our balloon clusters from the traditional formation and expand them into a flat, free-standing garland designed specifically for this Welcome Home sign.

✨ Figure-8 technique�✨ 12" + 5" balloon clusters�✨ Alternating colors�✨ Keeping the 260 taut for shape & stability�✨ And yes… placement is EVERYTHING!

✨ A Little Behind the Scenes ✨

Not every design turns into an event installation — but every design still represents creativity, time, and vision.

For this potential client, we created several custom balloon decor concepts in Canva to help them visualize their event space. From selecting the color palette to mapping out the balloon structures, each concept was designed with intention.

While we didn’t land the contract this time, we’re still proud of the work and love sharing a glimpse into the creative process behind event proposals.

Because sometimes the designs you don’t see installed are still part of the journey. 🎈

And who knows… the next design could be for your event.

We posted a holiday door décor special for Thanksgiving 2025… and got ONE client. 🙌🏽

But listen — that one felt like 100.

She measured her door, sent pics, and I prepped everything for an install the night before Thanksgiving. I used the double-tape method (painter’s tape to protect the wall + gaff tape). It looked amazing… until it fell. 😩

Redid it. Left. Temps dropped. Wind picked up. Next morning? Down AGAIN. O.M.G.

Okay. Solution mode activated.

It’s Thanksgiving Day — most stores are closed. Ran to , grabbed command hooks + duct tape (don’t judge 😂). Drove 30 minutes back, adjusted the design a bit at the top, secured it with hooks + gaff tape + a little reinforcement…

Y’ALL. It held. Through the cold. Through the wind. Clients loved it. Even gained a potential new one. 😉

The next day, during breakdown, one small paint peel happened — so after a few trips to Sherwin Williams and back, we made it right. Client taken care of. Lesson learned.

✨ Takeaways:
1. Don’t make the design top heavy
2. Dollar Tree command hooks (the small 2-pack) are clutch
3. Use a base/stand for outdoor installs
4. Gaff tape alone may not be enough outside

Growth comes with lessons — and we’re better because of it.
