After the stress of the week, we are thrilled to invite you to a very special event that means the world to us. The decision to cancel rehearsals, including our tech and our first show for the safety of our cast and guests, was necessary and as artists doing all of this on our own, difficult to make. Yet here we are, the day before opening.

It’s a show about love, featuring not only the talent of our local Orlando artists but also a beautiful story that’s near and dear to our hearts—*our* love story.

This performance is more than just a show; it’s a celebration of the love that has shaped our family and our lives. If there’s ever been a moment to come share in our journey, this is the one.
Lots of time and energy have been spent on this show (and money because duh).

Meet the cast-
Carlos Dimas, is a Venezuelan actor and dancer showcasing his talents across various forms of expression. His artistic journey began with Flamenco, later branching out into the realms of dance theater and physical theater. Over the past decade, Carlos has contributed to more than 20 productions that highlight his dynamic range and commitment to the craft.

In 2021, Carlos took a significant step in his career by moving to Orlando, Florida. Here, he became one of the founders of Artiko, a vibrant collective dedicated to serving the Hispanic community through the arts. He has collaborated with numerous local Hispanic theater groups.
Beyond performance, Carlos is passionate about education and mentorship. He runs a movement laboratory specifically designed for actors, where he encourages creative exploration and physical storytelling. His recent directorial debut with the production “Self”.
Currently, Carlos is part of the cast of a comedic play called “Una cena Desquiciada.”

Meet the cast-

Gadiel, a non-binary performer based in Orlando, is a self-taught dancer who brings dynamic movement and sensuality to every stage. They’ve performed at top festivals and events worldwide, blending their dance expertise with bold expression. Gadiel’s unique way to perform has broken the mold of burlesque in their home state of Florida and inspires LGBTQIA+ artists in the entertainment world.

Meet the cast-
Kim Matovina was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida where she began dance and gymnastics at the age of 3. She graduated from Jacksonville University with a BFA in dance in 2010, and shortly after headed to Orlando to work with UCF’s dance team and accept a role at Universal Studios Orlando where she spent ten years working in entertainment. You may have also caught her performing with local companies in events such as Creative City Project and Orlando Fringe, or performing with her own company here, Red Right Return Dance.
