Sunday evening riyaaz… 🎶

Coming back after COVID and nearly three weeks of barely having a voice. Starting slow tonight with some ear training. You can probably hear the cracking is still there.

Thank you for this incredibly useful exercise. I’ve been using it for quite a while now to sharpen my ear and deepen my understanding of the swaras. Still learning, still listening. 🎵

Thanks to the technical difficulties and video lagging on the YouTube portion, It naturally gave me the time I needed to guess the swar 😀

Some songs fit your voice effortlessly while others challenge you every step of the way.

This one definitely stretched me. Sunidhi Chauhan's powerful rendition is in a league of its own, and my voice takes a very different path. But growth doesn't come from singing only what's comfortable.

So here's another imperfect step in the journey, because consistency matters more than perfection, and the journey itself matters more than getting every note right. ❤️

There are times when my recordings are about stressing over hitting basic notes right. This one was not one of those. It was about having way too much fun. 😄❤️

A classic melody, a happy heart, and a little extra abandon in the moment.

The joy was high, the self-consciousness was low, and the singing happened anyway. 🎤
