The Remembering 🪽💜

You do not come to me to be healed.
You come to remember
the medicine already living within you.

Through breath,
through touch,
through sound and spirit,
we listen to what the body
has been whispering.

We soften what has hardened.
We breathe into what was buried.
We give back to the earth
what was never ours to carry.

And somewhere between
the drumbeat and the silence,
between the exhale and the surrender

you return.

To your body.
To your spirit.
To the ancient knowing
that has always lived within you.

This is not healing.

This is remembering.

I’m painting a door… but I’m not really talking about the door 💙🚪

This started as something so simple: I wanted my home to feel more whimsical. More colorful. More like me.

But somewhere between the paint, the mess and watching the transformation happen, I started thinking about how much of life works the same way.

Sometimes you look around and realize… this doesn’t feel like me anymore.

And changing it can feel scary.

Because change means letting go. And for a long time, I was afraid of losing.

So I stayed.

I tolerated things I had already outgrown. I kept myself in the game long after I knew I was meant to walk away. I let people underestimate me. I let people make me feel small. I questioned myself more times than I can count.

Because sometimes we’d rather stay somewhere uncomfortable than risk stepping into the unknown.

But life has a funny way of transforming you when you finally stop fighting the change.

And sometimes, you have to stop trying to convince people of your worth and simply keep becoming the person you know you are.

The victory doesn’t always come right away.

Sometimes it takes days.
Months.
Years.

But one day, you look around and realize that everything you thought was falling apart was actually making room for something that feels more like you.

So here I am… painting my door

And oh, honey…

I came to El Valle looking for a place.
