Made this piece for my grandmother a few years ago. It represents my grandfather who was in the Navy in WWII. He had two sparrows tattooed on his chest (among others as sailors did) and me and my sisters always resonated with that imagery. Appropriately I’m now sitting in her home in Minnesota where it sits permanently next to his photo. I was also amused that where it hangs on a tap lamp you can use my piece to brighten the light. My grandmother turns 90 in week and I’m so excited to get to celebrate here with her 🎂 ❤️

Made this a long while back & I’m trying to get caught up with all the projects I’ve made over the years!

Thinking of this piece I made for my now late grandfather who made it to 94 years of age. It sat in this window for the last 4 years and glad he got to enjoy it sitting in his kitchen. This hobby has been so therapeutic and now planning on designing a piece in honor of his home which was built 500 years ago and is about to transition to a new family who will hopefully have as many happy memories as I did. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Josie, the love of my life. My niece. I made this for her nursery with the most beautiful pastels I have. The clear glass is an iridescent that I think pulls it all together! Making things for loved ones is my love language for sure!

This was my first ever repair… well in reality I completely redid this frame. This is a picture of my parents just days after their wedding over 30 years ago. The number of times I cried while making this was comical. Family means more to me than anything in the world. I exemplified this by choosing the birthstones of all 5 of us family members to complete this project as I felt like these two amazing humans are at the core of why I am who I am. ____________________________________________________

Back in September I made my second ever nightlight for a friends 30th birthday. Her love for sharks and turtles and all things ocean was the driving force behind this piece. Excited that this hobby of mine is highlighting one of my love languages which is gift giving & making it from my own hands makes it even more personal!

Haven’t posted in months so thought I’d make my comeback with a Macaroon project I made for and her love for the French cookie! The Chicago skyline added for a fantastic backdrop!

Made this little fawn for one of my amazing friends who is having a baby girl in just one short month! It’s sometimes so easy to be nit picky but seeing someone you loves reaction to what you made them can change your perspective and remind you of the reason why you love making things for others! _______________________________________________________

When I found this glass I KNEW it needed to be a gator. This was the first time I attempted wire/solder teeth and I learned a lot of what I liked and didn’t. That’s the one thing you can count on, always learning from doing stained glass art! _______________________________________________________

🐉 (🍉 🍎 🍌) This was my first attempt at a nightlight and I think it was a success! I’ve had this speckled glass for a little while now and thought this was a perfect use for it. Excited to make more smaller pieces because lately my ideas are getting bigger and bigger and I like the idea of refining simple designs! _______________________________________________________
