Century Junior High Orchestras

For any current 7th or 8th grade parents interested in attending!

The Music Directors will be hosting an Information meeting regarding the planned 2027-2028 Music Department Trip to Hawaii this Wednesday, May 20th in the PAC at 7:00pm and should last approximately 45 minutes.

The optional trip will be for current Freshman, Sophomore, 8th and 7th grade choir, orchestra, band and marching band.

From rehearsals to performance to the park, Music in the Parks was a blast!

The District Orchestra received an excellent rating and 2nd place in Class A. The Orchestra was also awarded the Espirit de Corps award by the host school for our behavior, manners, and enthusiasm in performance!

1 week from today you can celebrate post-orchestra concert with Coldstone! They will be ON SITE, meaning at our concert!

The MPA Spring Concert Series is here!

With the end of the school year fast approaching, it’s time for the highly anticipated Spring Concert Series featuring our amazingly talented Meadow Ridge and Century Jr. High performers!

May 5 - MR/CJH Band Concert
May 12 - MR/CJH Choir Concert
May 14 - MR/CJH Orchestra Concert
(All start times 6:30pm Century Junior High School!)

And as an added “Sweet Treat”, we are also happy to announce our Fundraising Nights courtesy of Cold Stone Creamery!

The Orland Park location will be donating 20% of all in-store sales for the concert dates including selling Signature Creations on-site at the Orchestra Concert on May 14th! Don’t forget to mention the MPA South Fundraiser! And we will still be selling all your favorite concession as well!

MPA South hosted a fun music student movie night at Meadow Ridge for our 4th- and 5th-grade student musicians last Thursday. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this happen!
