Our wonderful dancers,
All good things must come to an end, and Light Blues is no exception. We will be shutting down the Friday night dance in two weeks. We hope you all come to our going-away party on April 13th, celebrating everything we’ve been through together and everything that is to come.
It’s been an honor to be such a part of this community and meet so many wonderful humans and dance with all of you over the years. Our hearts are full, and even though it’s bittersweet, it is time to close the doors. But you haven’t seen the last of us! We will still be around, dancing at the other fabulous blues dances around, and hope to host events and parties in the future (like maybe those park dances we’ve been talking about).
Thank you for all of your support, whatever shape it took.
We love this dance, and are excited to see how the community continues to learn and grow, but it’s time to take a step back and support it in different ways.
It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life, for all of us.
