Finished yesterday, copying some artwork of Diderot, we made a pattern and made some mittens because the weather is starting to turn. Are they perfect? Not in the slightest, but it was a fun project to figure out since there were no measurements or anything. The big challenge to figure out was the thumb piece pattern.

I appreciate you all in wanting to order clothes from me but once again I have to post this since I've been getting a lot of inquiries. I am not open for new commissions and orders. I have a backlog of things I need to get through l, as well as personal projects and things I am needing to make for myself at Colonial Williamsburg. And now that I can no longer take projects to work on at my new job my time for sewing is limited to only a few hours a day. Thank you for your understanding

Finished this night, a new regimental for a member of the 33rd Regiment of Foot Colonels Company, just in time for the Battle of White Plains. Made with broadcloth and half lined with osnaburg linen in the body and bay for the skirts all from Roy Najecki. 100% handsewn.

Finished earlier today, another item I was in need of for my job at Colonial Williamsburg. This is a linen knapsack copied off the Uhl knapsack. 100% handsewn using a heavy linen canvas that was issued to me. Theres records showing that when the call when out for Virginia's recruitment quota of 9 regiments many of the men showed up to Williamsburg expecting to be outfitted by the commonwealth but the things just weren't there ready for them. So instead the soldiers were handed the materials and a needle and thread and told to make what they needed.

I actually finished this a week ago but finally getting around to posting it.

This is my hunting shirt I'll be wearing at Colonial Williamsburg. The fabric is a custom woven lightweight striped wool fringed with linen. Eventually this will be dyed black to portray the 7th Virginia regiment and is 100% handsewn.

Finished at the 11th hour (it actually is 11:30pm at the time of posting) just in time for an event in Charleston, South Carolina this weekend. This one is also bittersweet as it will be the last project I'll really be able to do before I start at Colonial Williamsburg as all my fabrics, tools, and notions are packed up and ready to move.

Royal Navy Lieutenant uniform coat circle 1770s. 100% handsewn with Kochan and Philips superfine wool broadcloth and lined in shalloon with buttons from Najecki.
