No…But they can capture the essence of a person loved.

I painted my two nephews who left this world far too soon.

Like every portrait I create, this one is built with just three transparent watercolors.

The colors don’t just create skin—they create light, depth, and presence of the human spirit.

Art can’t change what happened.

But it gives us a way to spend a little more time with the people we miss.

It’s been a year since I launched Elizabeth Priller Studio and it’s been a wild ride. What started as a creative outlet for stress has turned into a journey of discovering what it means to fully let go.

And I’m still not sure what it fully means.

Thank you for being here for this past year, and we’ll see what the next one brings.
