I love creating custom pieces and sharing the craft through hands-on classes. I'm Elizabeth Heintz, the creator of Dark Feather Designs. I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands, and making jewelry became a way for me to slow down and focus on something creative and lasting. My background is in technology and project management, so this kind of work gives me a different kind of satisfaction—more personal, more hands-on. I’m especially drawn to wire wrapping and simple, natural designs. I take my time with each piece, paying attention to the small details and making sure it’s something I’d be proud to wear or give as a gift. Dark Feather Designs is just me, working quietly and intentionally. It’s about quality, not trends—and making something meaningful with care.

Boy am I excited about these! This Pink Opal has been UV printed. I won't be doing this to all of my cabs, but when they are less than interesting or have flaws that can be window dressed to be "features" I have an amazing new tool!

Creating the workflow was not a cake walk, but trial and error has led me to some cabochon magic coming to a jewelry artist near you!
