Sad News from Plumtree Radio. It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of music legend Neil Sedaka at the age of 86. The Brooklyn-born singer-songwriter, who brought joy to generations with his timeless hits, left us on February 27th in Los Angeles.From his early Brill Building classics like "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do," "Calendar Girl," "Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen," and "Oh! Carol" to his 1970s comeback gems such as "Laughter in the Rain" and "Bad Blood"—and the massive No. 1 "Love Will Keep Us Together" for Captain & Tennille—Neil's catchy melodies and heartfelt songwriting captured the magic of pop music across decades.A Juilliard-trained pianist and prolific creator of over a thousand songs, he truly was one of a kind. Rest in peace, Neil. Your music will live on forever here on Plumtree Radio. Our thoughts are with his family and all his devoted fans.
