Seasonal Jobs at Orcas Island Golf Course (April–October)

Orcas Island Golf Course is hiring seasonal employees for the 2026 season. We’re a locally owned, family-run 9-hole golf course with mini golf and a driving range. Our season runs spring through fall, with peak hours in the summer.

No golf experience required — we’re looking for reliable, positive people who are willing to jump in, learn, and be part of a small team.

🏌️ Clubhouse / Front Desk

2 Full-Time Seasonal Positions

Schedule:
• Two full-time employees share coverage
• Each works 5 days per week
• Split shifts on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday
• On split days, one works mornings and one works afternoons
• Longer days when the other employee has days off
• 40 hours/week during peak summer
• Shorter days in spring and fall
• Season runs April–October

Duties include:
• Checking in golfers and mini golfers
• Handling POS and reservations
• Answering phones
• Light cleaning and organization
• Providing friendly customer service

🌱 Grounds / Maintenance

1 Full-Time Seasonal Position

Schedule:
• Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Ideally mid-March through mid-November

Duties include:
• Mowing and course maintenance
• Groundskeeping and general upkeep
• Light equipment operation
• Outdoor work in all kinds of weather

🎓 Summer / College-Age Support Role

1 Seasonal Position

A flexible role during the busy summer months, helping where needed:
• Clubhouse
• Grounds
• Weekends, events, and fill-in coverage

Great fit for a college student or seasonal island worker.

We’ve had great success with couples in the past, especially when one works in the clubhouse and one on the grounds.

💵 Pay & Perks
• Clubhouse / Front Desk: $18–$21/hr base
• Grounds / Maintenance: $20–$23/hr base
• Shared cash tips average $4–5/hr, distributed evenly to all employees based on hours worked
• $2/hr employee tab to use on snacks, drinks, food truck meals, hats, and pro shop items
• Free golf for all employees
• Employee housing available for some positions

We've been revamping the course, adding some new turf, fresh stain on the bumpers, preparing for the season.
