I received an email and I wanted to share it. I’m humbled and grateful to have the best customers!
“We recently moved from Virginia to Brentwood, California, and I needed some work done on my cues. So I asked around and heard that there was a service in Sacramento that operated out of a pool hall there that did a pretty good job. We visited the pool hall and were referred to Niki and Craig at S&H CUE WORKS & BILLIARD SUPPLY ([email protected]). I gave them a call from the pool hall and asked if I could leave some work for them to do at the pool hall - they said to come on right over to their shop.
My wife and I went to their shop which operated out of Craig's house and they went to work on my cues. I needed tips on 4 shooting cues and one break cue, and also a grip on my carbon fiber cue. These guys explained all of the options and came up with cost effective solutions. I had asked for Kamui tips, which they were happy to provide, but the also offered another brand tip which was virtually identical, but with significant savings. The tips were all professionally applied using a lathe, and were perfectly trimmed to match the shafts. To put the grip on my carbon fiber cue, they needed to put an anchoring groove which they did expertly. And the elephant skin grip they put on feels like part of the cue. Their work was nothing short of amazing!
I now have the best equipped pool room in my house in Brentwood. All of my friends bring their own cues to play, but end up preferring the ones Niki and Craig did for me. I can't say enough good things about these guys. Their work was amazing! They explained everything they did. They even found me an extension for my carbon fiber cue which I had been looking for but had been unable to find. I can't say enough good things about Niki and Craig.
